Responsibilities
Develop and customize WordPress themes and plugins to meet project requirements.
Create and manage Shopify stores, including setup, design, and product management.
Collaborate with designers to implement responsive and visually appealing web designs.
Optimize websites for performance, usability, and SEO best practices.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to website functionality and performance.
Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices for both WordPress and Shopify.
Conduct testing and debugging of websites to ensure cross-browser compatibility.
Provide ongoing maintenance and support for existing WordPress and Shopify sites.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in WordPress and Shopify development.
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
Experience with WordPress theme and plugin development.
Familiarity with Shopify's Liquid templating language and app integrations.
Strong understanding of responsive web design and mobile-first development.
Knowledge of SEO principles and website optimization techniques.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
